I had almost forgotten it was on, but my father called from
Kansas City and said she'd made a splash. He is rarely
impressed, so an hour later I tuned in and pressed Record.
He was right of course. Abra did "4-leaf Clover" and
"Never Believe You Now," accompanied by long-time
drummer Chris Searles from Austin, and Kevin Hunter
from New York City. And she was most charming while
chatting up the pair about topics ranging
from growing up in Hawaii to busking in Paris to life these days
in Austin. Good job girl....
